Memorial Day Ceremony

Join us this Memorial Day to honor and mourn our fallen U.S. Military Active/Veteran comrades who gave their all for our nations freedom. Ceremony will be at the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Cemetery, 2951 TX-46, New Braunfels, TX 78130, Monday, May 27th, 2024 at 11:00 AM​

Flag Day

​Flag Day Ceremony will on Friday, June 14th beginning at 4:30pm at the Doug Herrle Chapter 61, 425 N. Vaughan Ave 78155. If you have any worn, torn or old flags that you would like to retire, bring them with you and join us.

DAV Chapter 61 Offices
Our Chapter House is located at 425 N. Vaughan Ave., Seguin, TX (830) 379-3299 and our new Satellite location in the Veterans Outreach Center (VOC) at 205 E. Weinert St., Seguin, TX (830) 402-8103. Our Chapter Office is open: Tuesday (appointment only) , Wednesday and Thursday (walk-ins no appointment needed) from 0900 to 1300 hrs. VOC open same days but no appointment is needed.
Doug Herrle Chapter 61 Service Office
Our Chapter Service Officers advise, instruct, and counsel claimants and provide assistance in preparation of VA claims for various benefits which claimant may be entitled. When an inquiry is taken or after appropriate forms are properly completed and signed, application is then forwarded to the DAV National Service Office in San Antonio for review and submission to regional VA Benefits Administration (VBA).
